Metronidazole has been the standard treatment for Bacterial Vaginosis for more than 30 years.
Bacterial Vaginosis often no longer consists of just Gardnerella Vaginalis as it did 30 years ago. Anaerobic bacteria such as Prevotella, Mobilincus and Atopobium Vaginae complicate treatment due to biofilm and resistance development. New is that in the clinical picture an Areobe Vaginitis (Streptococcus , Staphylococcus Areus, E.coli) or a fungal infection also play a role.
Evagynal is not an antibiotic but a broad-spectrum antiseptic that, due to its unique composition, has an excellent effect on virtually all pathogens involved in gynecological infections. In addition, Evagynal has a pronounced effect on bio-film formation.
