Composition
Each 2 g vaginal ovule contains: sodium hyaluronate 5.00 mg, tocopheryl acetate 1.00 mg, retinyl palmitate 1.00 mg, semi-synthetic glycerides as needed.
Dosage
One ovule at night before bedtime for 14 consecutive days. The treatment can be repeated as needed.
For vaginal lesions caused by physical treatment, apply the product from the first day of treatment.
For vaginal atrophy / dryness due to menopause, 1 ovule daily before bedtime for 14 days, then 1 ovule every 3 days.
Indications
- Premeno Duo are vaginal ovules for the treatment of vaginal dryness, which can be a result of menopause, stress, breastfeeding, or anti-hormonal chemotherapy, with or without combination with local hormone therapy.
- Vulvovaginal atrophy due to menopause.
- Lesions, ectopies, and other changes in the vaginal mucosa.
- After physical treatments (DTC, laser therapy, cryotherapy, radiotherapy).
Contraindications
Proven hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
Side Effects
No side effects have been reported to date. Inform your doctor and pharmacist about side effects you suspect are caused by the use of the product.
Incompatibilities/Interactions
No interactions with other preparations, substances, or medications have been reported to date. Effects on the ability to drive and operate machines: No effects on the ability to drive a motor vehicle or operate machines have been reported.
Warnings
The use of products for local application, especially long-term use, may cause hypersensitivity; in that case, the treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted for appropriate therapy. For special gynecological examinations or treatments, discontinue the treatment the day before. The product should only be used vaginally. No cases of overdose have been reported under normal conditions of use. Use during pregnancy should be evaluated by the doctor. Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the packaging. Do not use the product if the packaging and/or individual blister cells are damaged. Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow. Any serious incident related to the medical device must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State where you are located.
